On a meadow of the Alpine Homestead in the idyllic village of Ročnjek stands a beehive with beautiful decorative beehive panels. Would you like to find out why we say someone is as industrious as a bee? Experienced beekeeper and painter Anja Bunderla will take you on a tour of the bee world and reveal how much truth there is to be found in that saying. This one-hour event will tell you about the rich Slovenian beekeeping tradition, let you take a closer look inside a beehive, listen to the buzzing of the bees and try their produce. You will end this pleasant gathering by snacking on delicacies made with homemade honey.
